Ballinskelligs is located on the magnificent Skellig Ring between Waterville and Valentia Island. Wild rugged coastlines, scattered islands, vast mountains and high passes, this Gaeltacht (Gaelic speaking) region will leave you longing to come back for more.
The area is renowned for its miles of golden beaches and turquoise water. The area has its own Irish College, where children come in summer to learn the Irish Language. The area has a unique history and culture and was the mainland connection for the monks that lived on Skellig Michael.
