Failte Ireland approved, 4 star. This self-catering accommodation is an open plan cottage. It has a kitchen/living area with natural slate floor, large stone & brick fireplace with cast iron stove, pine ceilings and furniture, radio and colour TV. One bedroom with a double bed, ensuite shower room with WC and WHB.
Colour TV; CD player, electric cooker; fridge; microwave; dishwasher* (not available in Knox or Glebe Cottage). Safety deposit box if required €5/week.

Lorrha
Lorrha is a small village situated at the north tip of County Tipperary in Ireland. The village is located about three miles east of the point where the River Shannon enters Lough Derg. The parish itself borders Portumna in Co. Galway, Birr in Co. Offaly and has internal borders with the parishes of Terryglass, Riverstown and Borrisokane in Tipperary. This historic crossing point over the River Shannon between counties Tipperary and Galway has a long history of bridges and ferry crossings.
