Hønefoss
Hønefoss is a town in Buskerud county, Norway, administratively part of, and also centre of, the municipality Ringerike.
Hønefoss was separated from Norderhov as a town, and municipality of its own, in 1852. It celebrated its 150th year of township in 2002.
Hønefoss has 13,400 inhabitants, and is located north of lake Tyrifjorden, where the river Begna forms Hønefossen waterfall, giving the town its name.
